Sampling for Dioxins
Overview
Westech’s standard Manual Sampling Train (MST) can be modified for the sampling of dioxins and furans by using the Dioxin Sampling accessory kit. The modified stack sampling system is configured to comply with the methodologies defined in the European Standard – EN 1948, and USEPA Method 23.
Probe liners and nozzles will often need changing to ensure compliance with the materials requirements of the standards and are available in glass, quartz and titanium which will cover most applications.
Sampling for Heavy metals
Overview
Westech’s standard Manual Sampling Train (MST) can be modified for the sampling of heavy metals by using the Trace Metals Sampling accessory kit. The modified stack sampling system is configured to comply with the methodologies defined in the European Standard – EN14385, and USEPA Method 29. This method can also be used for Mercury under the new mercury regulations specified by the USEPA.
Probe liners and nozzles will often need changing to ensure compliance with the materials requirements of the standards and are available in glass, quartz and titanium which will cover most applications.
